Hi, I’m Ruth, and Hungryroot has seriously helped me eat healthy while working from home. Life has been crazy over the past few years, and I don't often feel like I have time to make regular, healthy meals. I wasn’t taking the best care of myself—I would often just skip lunch altogether or eat a bag of chips. I used to really beat myself up for not making healthy choices, but since I started getting deliveries, I'm realizing that it wasn't my fault. The grocery store isn't designed to make it easy to eat healthy, but Hungryroot is.
In addition to making mealtimes easier, Hungryroot has introduced me to snacks I didn't know I could love. The Coconut Curry sauce is delicious in recipes, but it also makes a great dip for fresh veggies. I really love junk food, but I think I like this snack just as much.
I love that Hungryroot has given me back so much peace of mind (and time!). Instead of exhausting myself shopping and prepping meals, I can read, play with my dogs, go on walks with my husband—do the things that light me up!
Eating healthier with Hungryroot has also made it much easier for me to make other healthy choices. Honestly, after I eat a delicious Hungryroot lunch or dinner, I feel more motivated to get out and take a walk and keep myself hydrated. Using Hungryroot has been one small change that has helped me to live a healthier life overall, which is such a gift! Everyone deserves to feel that way.
